Last week it was my little brother’s birthday and because he has so many toys I did not know what to buy him. That's why I chose to give him money. So he can make his own decision which toys he buys and would not be disappointed with my choice.

But money in an envelope is also not fun for a small child. On Pinterest I saw a nice solution! Give the child a jar of sweets with the money inside. The child will be a little shocked or even disappointed, because he only gets candy (nothing special), but once the candy jar is opened he will be pleasantly surprised with the twist.

Unfortunately, this didn’t work at all hihi. My brother was actually very pleased with the candy jar and made it open to take one out. When he saw the money, he said, “Oh, there's also money in it”, grabbed some candy and went back to playing.

Very nice idea, but didn’t really done what I wanted to do..

Dracula Untold

Hi,

Yesterday I went to see Dracula Untold. I’m a big vampire fan, so I couldn’t miss this movie. And I liked it very much. However it wasn’t what I expected..

In this version Dracula appears as a human who sacrifices himself for his people. Instead of the monster which everyone feared. So if you didn’t seen the movie yet, don’t expect al lot of violence and blood. Actually, there is almost no blood found in Dracula Untold. A bit weird tho.. And a pity too. Vampires are so much fun, partly because they drink blood. Something that makes them dangerous and exciting.

Still it’s a most see movie, in my opinion :)

Beaute et Vogue Box

Heyy,

A month ago my mom showed me a video on YouTube from TodaysBeauty. She talked about a Vogue beautybox and showed everything in it. I kinda loved the products and bought the box myself.

This week it came in! And I’m still very happy. There is a lot of nice stuff in it and the box is not expensive. So win-win! But just look and judge for yourself hihi.

Cake, Cake, Cake

Hi guys,

This time I will talk about cupcakes! For my favorite cupcakes, I always go to Schiphol, where Cupcakechic is located. A very small and cute shop with always-friendly staff that genuinely show interest and know their products through and through. For that reason alone, I fell in love with Cupcakechic. Because let's face it, not a lot of employees nowadays know the identity of the company.

This time I chose three different cupcakes: Curly White, Vanilla Iced and my all time favorite Red Velvet! All three highly recommended.

Portfolio

Hallo,

Yesterday was an stressful day for me. Why? I’m gonna tell you. In my second semester I want to follow a minor, but to follow this minor I needed to make a portfolio. Of all applications a small group will be chosen on the basis of their portfolio. Kinda scaring..

I never made a portfolio before, so I didn’t know how to make it.. After stressing and fussing I made one. And I like the results! It’s not perfect, but I never know I could make something like this if I really want too. Only I forgot to take a picture of the results, because I was sooo nervous. Therefore, a few pages below.

I really really hope I will be accepted. This minor is my number one choice and I don’t really want to do something else. I will be devastated, so fingers crossed!!
