Homemade sushi

Hey,

I’m going to make sushi myself. I have said often enough, so last weekend I finally did. I went to the grocery store with my sister and we bought all the required ingredients for my favorite sushi’s, Ebi tempura and California roll! However, I’ve made my sushi ​​in a slightly different way. With the tobiko on the inside.

After a long time standing in the kitchen and a lot of googling, I’ve done it. And it was definitely worth it. It was really nice to be in the kitchen. I normally never do, so maybe there’s a kitchen princess inside me.

Football/Soccer and women

Hi,

The World Cup has begun, so the jokes are taken out of the closet again. Do you know what offside is? Are you not constantly walking through the screen when a game is on? Which World Cup player has the tightest abs? Just some questions we women often get.

And that needs to change! Yes we now know what offside is and if not, you know now (check the pic below: the left blue dot/player is standing offside :P). And even if the match is not interesting enough, we'll be quiet and sit perfectly still. But I can’t deny that the toned bodies of the players is not a big plus. But men, you can’t say that you for example look at the photos and videos of the Taz's Angels purely for the workout hihi.

Slip on

Hello guys!

They are totally hip and you can find them in many stores, the slip on sneakers. Since a month or two I noticed that more and more brands introduced slip on sneakers. In many colors, with different details and material types. The slip on are casual sneakers that you can easily combine with anything. As the name actually says, slip on.

And yes, I’m a fan. I started with the slip on sneaker from Zara, but soon I’m going to buy the slip on from River Island. Perhaps tomorrow, I also need to buy my dad a present for Father’s Day.

No boring soap

Hey,

Are you a little bit reluctant to wash your hands with soap? Simply because soap is irritating. You need more time to wash your hands than you actually go to the toilet. And when you walk outside you still feel leftover soap on your hands.

Dettol now comes with something new, 'Touch of Foam Hand Soap’. And yes foam soap has been known for a while and yes most brands have introduced it already. But I prefer Dettol, because it’s Dettol, a highly regarded brand that helps prevent the spread of bacteria, and it smells incredibly nice! I’m now using the pink one, 'Rose & Cherry in bloom'. Why? Well, because it’s pink. But I can’t wait to use the others.

Homemade Amsterdam

Hi,

As you probably already know, I am studying in Amsterdam (see intro :P). So I’m often in the center of Amsterdam. And at one point I do get hungry, so I need to eat. I mainly do that at Homemade Fresh Food & Drinks! A lunchroom where I can not only eat delicious food, but also can chat with friends and have a good time. I'm so bad that you do not even have to ask where I want to eat hihi.

If I had to choose one dish, I chose the Club Chicken. A sandwich with grilled chicken, bacon, grated cheese, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, Homemade aioli and chips. It is one of the more expensive dishes, but it is more than worth it.

Up to 10 Euros you can have a healthy and delicious meal.

Four movies in a row

Hello,

I mentioned that I love movies in my introduction. But didn’t said something about it yet. Okay, so I’m a regular moviegoer. I even have a pass, so I can go unlimited to the cinema. How awesome is that! And that's exactly what I did the last few days. I went to films that were amazing and movies that were not. So here’s my opinion on a number of movies.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a great movie if you like bad boys, but there’s not a lot of action. A shame, because they could do so much more with it..

The Other Woman, a chick flick that makes a bad situation comical. It’s a typical ‘what you see is what you get’ movie.  

A Haunted House 2 is a repetition of part one. The same jokes, same characters and kinda same storyline.. I'm a fan of the Wayans brothers, but this was not funny.. :(

Bad Neighbours is literally a film about neighbors quarreling. Trying to be funny, but wasn’t.. The appearance of Zac Efron and Dave Franco made it a lot better.

Victoria's Secret

Hey guys,

Last week I told you about one of my many addictions. And that made me think. What else do I love? Well, I really really love Victoria’s Secret! <3

There are not a lot of shops in the Netherlands. In fact only two.. Both at Schiphol (airport). One for customs and one after. So only one I can regularly shop at. What’s kinda sad.. But nothing I can do about it.

However the reason why I’m writing about Victoria’s Secret is because I bought a pair of odors. And every time it’s an obstacle, but not in a bad way tho. I love nice scents, so I can literally smell the odors all day long. The hardest thing is to choose. But finally I made my choice. I bought three different fragrances: Pure Daydream, Mango Temptation en Pure Seduction! So you can never say I don’t smell good ;)
